Welcome to the Discussion Page!

Click on the "Discussion" tab to see the prompts. We will use these questions to stimulate conversations about the novel and its various layers of meaning. Please remember to honor the guidelines listed on the home page of this wikispace when engaging in discussions.

In order for a true discussion to evolve, you must do three things: (1) offer at least ONE original response to one of the prompts, (2) reply to at least TWO of your peers' posts, and (3) comment on their responses to your posts. Provide ample text support from the novel within your responses to validate your insights and lend another critical layer to your comments.

Keep in mind that at the end of this unit, you will receive a grade for your participation in these discussions. Only those remarks posted by 9:00 pm on Monday, February 11th, will be counted towards your grade.

Also, it is very important that you type your name at the bottom of each of your posts. If you forget to include your name, you will risk forfeiting credit for your contributions! Please also identify the student to whom you are replying.
